BC Institute of Argologists - Cariboo Central Interior Branch Award

One award to a student in any grade for an outstanding project that deals with the practice of Agrology or Natural Resource Management. The project should be related to production, processing or marketing of plants and animals, or the management of natural resources. Preference may be given to projects that have a direct link to agriculture. Preference may also be given to projects that are experimental in nature and incorporate aspects of the scientific method.

Awarded to one level II (grade 4 to 6) and one level I (grade 7 to 12) student for an outstanding project that demonstrates an understanding of Astronomical Science. This could involve, but is not limited to, studies in meteor science, radio astronomy, astrophotography, star spectrography, solar system, lunar phenomena, binary stars.

SCWIST Award (Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology)

Awarded to a young women or gender diverse youth, preferably in grades 8-10 in any category whose project shows the greatest curiosity, ingenuity and innovation in design. This award is intended to encourage the student’s interest in science. A student may not receive this award more than once.
